I often introduce myself to other l/s people simply as: "His"
Below is an interesting 'take' on the phrase "His Living Sacrifice" that I just found and like, even though it is not remotely from my tradition:
"The concept of someone being a living sacrifice comes from the Book of Romans, where the Apostle Paul challenges the Christians of Rome to give their whole life over to God's will - His Living Sacrifice — a powerfully challenging concept."
The giving of one's will is indeed a powerful and challenging concept, yet as a submissive, it is one I live all the time. Of course, my willing, living sacrifice is not to "God", but to another carefully chosen person. A person with faults and talents; one as human as I.
As a Reclaiming witch, this models what we call "Power With" (vs. over or from within). It's a balance of wills and responsibilities on both sides.
I think I'm 'claiming' this concept of willingness and being "His" as it applies to my own life.
If you ever hear me introduce myself as "His", you'll know 'the rest of the story'. (tips hat in Paul Harvey's memory)
